At Corina Bakery we offer Consultations and Tastings for your special event, whether it's a wedding, an anniversary or a very special birthday. You'll meet with our bakery manager one-on-one to discuss logistics, design, flavors and costs. Working in a budget? We’ll figure it out together. You’ll walk away with confidence knowing that your ideas are heard and understood and that ultimately, your cake or pastry will taste like no other.
How do I schedule a consultation? Start by giving us a call! We schedule Tastings and Consultations throughout the week (excluding Saturdays). We'll work to coordinate your schedule with our Bakery Manager and Specialty Cake Artist, Stephanie.

What can I expect from a Consult/Tasting? A tasting includes indulging in 3 different flavors of cake, (pie or cheesecakes), while talking with a baker. A variety of flavors are available for you to choose from. Don’t be afraid to go outside the box and try a flavor you’ve never had. If you schedule a consult and our baker finds a way to make your cake tour more thorough, we will give you a call and clarify.
Additionally, if you have a special flavor in mind, but don’t see it, just ask. We make our cakes from scratch, so the sky’s the limit, with few exceptions. A bit more limited in choice, but exceptionally delicious, we offer gluten free, vegan and lower sugar alternatives for those with special dietary requirements.
Receiving the utmost attention, expect your appointment to run 45-60 minutes. We will start where it matters: taste. From there we will go over cake design and get the general feel for your special event. A sketch will be drawn and detailed notes will be taken to ensure all your needs are met.
What do I need to do for a Consult/Tasting? First thing is make the appointment by calling the bakery, (253.627.5070) and -- if you're doing a Tasting -- give us the 3 flavors you want to taste. Remember, you can taste any 3 combos, so go crazy!
An hour can go very quickly so the more details you provide, the
more time we have to fine tune your order. Bring in pictures, articles,
fabric swatches, ribbon or anything that relates to the colors or
theme of your wedding.
(Bring
in the Bridesmaids shoes if you have to!) If you like the color of
one cake, decoration of another, and the structure of a third, bring
in all three pictures and we will design the perfect cake that meets
your needs.
How much is this going to cost me? The most commonly asked question! We offer varying costs on two, three, and four tier cakes, all the way up to eight. All cakes have a BASE* price. This price includes simple, finished decoration, which cover the majority of cakes. Additional labor is $20/hour. All Specialty cake flavors, add $5 per Tier.
